1. Who we are

Throughout these terms, "we", "us" and "our" refer to SightGuard. "You" refers to the person visiting our site or placing an order.
2. Using our site
You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority where you live, to purchase from us.
You agree not to use our site for any unlawful purpose, to attempt to gain unauthorised access to our systems, to copy or resell our content without permission, or to interfere with the operation of the site.
We may refuse service to anyone, at any time, for any lawful reason.
3. Products and pricing
We do our best to display our products and their colours accurately. Actual appearance may vary slightly depending on your screen.
All prices are shown in [CURRENCY] and may change without notice. We reserve the right to correct pricing errors, including after an order has been placed. If we correct a price after you have ordered, we will contact you and give you the option to continue at the correct price or cancel for a full refund.
Product descriptions and specifications may be updated as products are improved.
4. Orders
Placing an order is an offer to buy. Your order is accepted when we send you a confirmation email.
We may cancel or limit an order if the product is unavailable, if we suspect fraud, if there has been a pricing or description error, or if the order appears to be for resale.
If we cancel your order, you will receive a full refund.
5. Payment
Payment is taken at checkout. We accept the payment methods shown on our checkout page. Payments are processed by third party providers, and you agree to their terms when you use them.
You confirm that you are authorised to use the payment method you provide.
6. Shipping and delivery
Shipping times shown on our site are estimates, not guarantees. Delays caused by carriers, customs or events outside our control are not our responsibility, although we will always help you resolve them.
Risk of loss passes to you once the carrier marks the order as delivered.
Any customs duties or import taxes are your responsibility unless we state otherwise.
If your order is marked delivered but has not arrived, contact us within 14 days and we will help investigate.
7. Returns, refunds and the 90-day guarantee
We offer a 90-day money back guarantee from the date of delivery.
To make a claim, email support@sightguard.com with your order number within 90 days of delivery. We will reply with instructions.
Refunds are issued to the original payment method. Please allow 5 to 10 business days for the refund to appear on your statement.
We may refuse a refund where there is evidence of abuse of this policy, such as repeated claims or deliberate damage.
8. Warranty and limitations
Our products are covered by the guarantee described above and by any warranty rights you have under the law where you live. Nothing in these terms removes those rights.
Beyond that, our products are supplied "as is". We do not warrant that the product will be uninterrupted, error free, or that it will prevent any crime, loss or damage.
Important: SightGuard is a consumer camera. It is not a monitored alarm system, an emergency service, or a substitute for insurance or proper home security measures. We are not liable for any loss, theft, injury or damage to your property.
9. Use of the product
You are responsible for using the product lawfully. Recording laws differ by country, state and region, particularly regarding audio recording and recording areas outside your own property.
Before installing, check the rules that apply where you live. You are responsible for complying with them.
10. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability to you for any claim relating to your order is limited to the amount you paid for that order.
We are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential losses, including loss of property, loss of data or loss of profit.
Some jurisdictions do not allow these limitations, in which case they apply only as far as the law permits.
11. Intellectual property
All content on this site, including text, images, graphics, logos and the SightGuard name, is our property or licensed to us. You may not reproduce, distribute or use it commercially without our written permission.
12. Reviews and submissions
If you send us reviews, photos, videos or other content, you give us permission to use, display and share it in our marketing, without payment. You confirm that the content is yours to share and does not breach anyone else's rights.
13. Third party links
Our site may link to other websites. We are not responsible for their content, products or privacy practices.
14. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms at any time. The version in force is the one published on this page when you place your order. The date at the top shows when it was last changed.
15. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Slovenia, and any disputes will be handled by the courts of Slovenia.
Nothing in these terms affects your statutory consumer rights.
